Dyson Media is run by Steve Dyson, an award-winning regional newspaper editor with 20 years experience in the industry.
He edited the Birmingham Mail until January 2010 but then left to run his own media consultancy, Dyson Media, which offers bespoke training, strategy reviews and media awareness advice for individuals and organisations.
Clients already range from city councils to football chairmen, and from MPs to NHS Trust charities and housing associations.
Dyson Media also holds regular ‘Master Classes in Regional Media’, involving experts from the local and national press, broadcast and online media.
Steve also works as a freelance journalist and broadcaster for the BBC, where he presents the 'Hard Talk with Steve Dyson' interview series.
He writes a weekly blog for industry website www.holdthefrontpage.co.uk reviewing regional newspapers and sits on accreditation panels for the National Council for the Training of Journalists.
